Hi, I am Yanyan, a Melbourne-based general practitioner strongly believing in holistic approach of healthcare.

While providing the updated evidence-based medical advice, I listen with compassion and take time to explore the physical, psychological and social aspects of health conditions.

You may see me drawing charts and graphs during the consults because I believe supporting people to understand their health conditions will empower them to achieve better health outcome. I am passionate about heath education, both for patients I encounter and for communities I involve with.

The education is never one-way, and I often find myself inspired by my patients. Hence I commit myself to updating knowledge and obtaining new skills within the ever evolving medical industry to better serve my patients.

While having a special interest in child health, women’s health, mental health and chronic disease management, I love seeing all patients in general practice.
